Our goal is for you to achieve YOUR goals, whether that involves showing, trail riding, or simply learning about horse care and ownership.
Our lessons are rooted in horsemanship so that you can communicate with horses in a way that they understand. We will help you understand body language, when to apply pressure, when to release, and how to work with your horse instead of working against them.
For someone who has little to no horse experience, we start from the ground up with small but necessary tasks such as proper catching, leading, tying, grooming, and tacking up. Once you are in the saddle, we move on to balancing work and how to cue the horse. Eventually, you are riding on your own and learning the skills to reach your individual goal!
PRICES & PACKAGES
Below are the prices of different lessons and packages you can sign up for. If you do not have a horse, we have lesson horses that you can use for your lessons. If you have a horse of your own that you would like to use, you are more than welcome to haul your horse to our facility as long as they are suitable for that particular lesson and vaccinated against the following diseases: Eastern and Western Encephalomyelitis, Rhinopneumonitis, Rabies, West Nile Virus, and Tetanus.

Offsite lessons may be available dependent upon onsite lesson scheduling. Offsite facilities must be within 15 miles of Oak Leaf Ranch with adequate riding areas (minor price increase with offsite lessons).
